Here's an update on the insignia which will appear laser etched into the high pressure resin infused Kraft paper enclosure of each Giant Steps equipment foot

It achieves magnificent 'mind-altering' performance and has a most elegant appearance!

This is a serious feat, and all who experience it will agree: it really means business.

What's its character, how does it sound?

Really what we want from an equipment foot is both maximum air and maximum density, all at the same time. Typically, these two come at a disappointing compromise. So many solutions lean on one of those two extremes. Either the sound becomes dense but mucky (because no air), or it becomes airy but thin (because no meat on the bones).

Giant Steps masters them both faithfully and serves them to you in the most exquisite manner. The depth, density, and detailed air of the sound all draw you in like never before. The best way I can put it is hypnotic, mesmerising, and entrancing. When it draws you in, you're completely transported to the time and place of recording. Hi-fi sound is replaced with natural, organic, expressive sonic beauty. Cheapness falls to the wayside, being replaced with a precious, detailed richness which is simply delicious in every aspect. Instead of addressing nagging sonic suspicions, you find that doubts and questions no longer even arise. You're left with pure appreciation, and it feels so good.

It's not like new shoes that you know will eventually wear out. Giant Steps is destined to become a permanent fixture in any sound system. They do not merely visit. They belong.

What can I do to lower my price?

Early Bird launch Step #1 is in progress. We ask that you go to this link, take a few minutes to read through the material showcasing the exotic, rather mind-altering nature of this revolutionary product, and then show us your inclination via the informal, anonymous questionnaire at the end.

What's the poll for, and what do I gain from participating?

The poll is informal and anonymous. We ask only two questions:

(1) Your interest as a simple Yes/No question.

(2) The total number of audio components there are in your sound system.

When we tally up the totals, we will have a general idea for our initial production run quantity. The larger the production run, the better pricing we can secure. We always aim to offer the most affordable pricing in order to serve the largest number of audiophiles. But to truly offer the best possible pricing, we need your feedback.

What if I already submitted my interest? What happens next, and how do you plan to secure and apply the best possible Early Bird discounts?

We'll break it down into simple steps. Basically it will happen in 2 Phases of 4 steps each, outlined below.

Phase One in 4 steps:

(Step #1) If you have already participated, thank you kindly. At this point we await any remaining participants currently still 'on the fence.'

(Step #2) After the data is in, we will discuss quantities with our suppliers, and make sure to aggressively negotiate the best possible deals with each of them.

(Step #3) Having gathered the negotiated data, we will then come back to you and ask those who are participating in the Early Bird launch to consider the discounted numbers we were able to achieve. We will call these numbers the Early Bird Phase 1 discount.

(Step #4) Then, seeing the Phase 1 discount numbers, which will for sure be higher than final discounted figures, you'll be given the opportunity to place an initial small Early Bird Phase 1 order. This will be for three units of Giant Steps equipment feet at Phase 1 discounted pricing. This means your initial order and commitment will be kept to a minimum number of feet (3 units). This step secures your place in line for when we begin shipping out, regardless of how many feet you wind up purchasing in Phase 2 later.

Phase Two in 4 steps:

(Step #1) During this initial commitment order of 3 feet, you'll also be submitting your actual pledge (but no payment) for larger quantities. This pledge needs to come so late in the process because only by now will you know the Phase 1 discounted price we were able to negotiate with our suppliers. Phase 2 discounts will certainly turn out to be even better. But you will now see the real world max price ceiling, and will calculate according to your individual budget. The Phase 2 Early Bird price will be even lower than the Phase 1 price, but by how much, we won't be able to know until Phase 1 orders along with concrete pledges are calculated and submitted by yourself.

(Step #2) We'll tally up those concrete pledges calculated by yourself, and all price savings we then muster from our suppliers, we will pass directly on to you, thus lowering the final Early Bird price for all those who choose to expand their order beyond 3 feet.

(Step #3) At this point, Phase 2 Early Bird pricing is announced. You'll be able to place your second and final Early Bird order at the absolute rock-bottom price enabled by the total number pledged by the whole community.

(Step #4) Anyone who expands their order in Phase 2 over and beyond 3 feet, will enjoy both the Phase 2 discount, as well as a retroactive(!) discount for their Phase 1 initial order!
