New product pending — Giant Steps equipment feet!

Dear esteemed clients,

We're happy to inform you about a new development here at LessLoss: Giant Steps equipment feet. Here we present you with the first sneak peek information into this exciting upcoming product.

The new equipment feet shall be made in line with our new design model based on a high pressure resin infused Kraft Paper housing featuring polished brass accent details.

The foot will be circular in shape, and of less height than the existing Bindbreaker equipment foot. The Bindbreaker is 38mm high, whereas the new Giant Steps foot will be just 17mm high. It will be 50mm in diameter.

Behind the scenes, we have put years of work into R&D of this new product, having created well over 40 working prototypes before finalizing the design.

There are no moving parts in this design: no rubber, no ball bearings, no pins, points nor magnets. The operating principle is very far off the typical beaten path. Using only extreme Entropic Process ferrous metal exhibiting no memory and a highly controlled crystal structure, and a series of flat laser cut spiral shapes, we form the working parts into what can only be considered a ferrous meta-material, with noise reducing effects reaching far beyond the material involved. All this is embedded in rock solid, crystal clear epoxy resin at the very center core of the foot, which allows a direct look at the inner workings from above.

The contact surface area of the foot to the gear placed on it is actually counterintuitively high. This goes directly against most common equipment foot designs. This foot does not work mainly in the physical realm like a shock absorber, whose purpose it is to dampen already existing vibrations. We are now far beyond such "all-too-late" reactive solutions with this design.

We don't at the time of this writing have prototype images to show you, but we do have these images of some of the brass accent rings currently being produced.
